"Everyone loved Daniel. From the little group of student leaders who spent lunch time with him to the whole 400 students and faculty at his presentation. He was sincere, humble, and showed a great presence and confidence on stage. Daniel engaged 400 teenagers in his conversation by doing an interactive presentation. It was just wonderful!"

"We had Daniel Trust speak to the students at Windham High School about his experience in the Rwandan genocide, and it was inspirational and outstanding. His story is both genuine and relatable, and the students were astoundedly attentive and engrossed in what Daniel had to say. Most importantly, Daniel was so kind and helpful during the whole process; he is exceptional to work with. I highly recommend booking Daniel to speak about genocide in your community - he provides a primary source account incomparable to anything one can read about genocide."

I would like to say that your story was both educational and inspirational for my students, you have opened their eyes to the idea that no matter what circumstances befall someone they can always strive to become successful. I think you are an incredible speaker and your story is quite motivational.

As an educator, I am interested in ways to make learning effective and experiential. Those words barely cover the experience of having Daniel Trust speak in one's classroom. Daniel's demeanor is one of complete accessibility--there are no walls between him students and the truth of his situation. He tell sit like it was and like it is. After listening to him in total absorption for nearly on hour, his talk punctuated with dense questions from the crowd, I asked this question: "Tell us what you think about Americans." He sat silently for a moment and then looked at me. "I AM an American. This country gave me my life back" What a teachable moment! My students saw me make an assumption. They heard the mistake I made and the graceful reply by Daniel. Many students told me afterwards that they "got it now" when it came to assuming things about people.
I have had students return over the past few years. Every one who was in my African Literature class and who heard Daniel speak refers to that time. He made a lasting, deep impression with his information and charm. He was the keynote speaker at our high school graduation several years ago at the request of the students.
I will always be grateful to Daniel for the honestly, intelligence, and courage he brings to our lessons and our lives.
